ETAWA Teachers Seminar and Sundowner

Join us on Friday, 29th November at the scenic Pagoda Resort & Spa for an afternoon of high-quality professional learning, followed by a relaxing sundowner.

Paul Bloxham – State of the Economy Address

Paul is HSBC’s Chief Economist for Australia, New Zealand, and Global Commodities. He will provide an insightful analysis of the current economy and future trends.

Rhian Bilclough – Innovative Approaches to Teaching Economics

Rhian, a teacher at Shenton College and host of the "Economics Central" podcast, will share her innovative strategies for engaging Economics students.

Nick Ognenis – Changes to the Year 7-10 HASS Syllabus (Economics & Business) 

Nick, Manager of Curriculum, Assessment & Strategic Policy at SCSA and President of ETAWA, will discuss upcoming changes to the Economics and Business syllabus for Years 7-10.

Sundowner: Enjoy complimentary canapés and drinks while networking with fellow educators.

AGM - Drinks and canapes will continue as the executive committee will briefly report on the association in 2024 and ETAWA members will elect the committee positions for 2025.
